Hey, I’m Evelyn! I am so thankful you have come for a visit!
Let me tell you a bit about myself: I am happily married, with two wonderful children. I am one of five siblings (my brother was born in the middle). I am very passionate about talking, writing, crocheting, reading and blogging. I also love to enjoy a cup of tea with friends.
Through my study of the life of Jesus and my personal relationship with Him, I have been slowly developing His character (emphasis on slowly). . As I developed these different character traits (thankfulness in every circumstance, trust, joy, and patience to mention a few). I found myself wanting to share with others.
I created this blog so we can encourage, challenge and inspire each other to never give up on becoming our best selves. I know that I have chosen to be more intentional about personal development in my life and look forward to sharing what I am learning.
I believe we all want to be better today, than we were yesterday, and even better tomorrow than we are today. Life is going to throw us many circumstances, so lets learn how to embrace them and use them to become the best person we can be.
Please join me in the conversation!
Developing Contentment and Thankfulness:
Paul share with us: “It has been a great joy to me that after all this time you have shown such interest in my welfare. I don’t mean that you had forgotten me, but up till now you had no opportunity of expressing your concern. Nor do I mean that I have been in actual need, for I have learned to be content, whatever the circumstances may be. I know now how to live when things are difficult and I know how to live when things are prosperous. In general and in particular I have learned the secret of facing either poverty or plenty. I am ready for anything through the strength of the one who lives within me.” (Philippians 4:10-13).
